We want to thank all of our supporters so each week on Thursday if you’ve donated, become a member or brought us a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal in the last week, you’ll see your name on our website and Facebook page with a huge THANK YOU!
Vendors at our Silent Auction Fundraiser
People often don’t realize how many requests for donations businesses get every year. Hundreds, if not thousands, and that means they have to pick and choose who they give to. We are honored that the vendors at this year’s event chose to donate their time and talents to Wildwoods.
When you find yourselves out shopping or deciding where to go for dinner or a drink, please remember that these vendors supported the same cause that you believe in so much. We ask that you would thank them by shopping and dining with them, and tell them Wildwoods sent you!
THANK YOU to Clyde Iron Works, Vikre Distillery, The Duluth Grill, Bent Paddle Brewing Co., Mike and Jen’s Mixes, How Sweet It Is Cakes, Castle Danger Brewery, the Ramirez Family, Beaner’s Central, White Winter Winery, Zenith Bread Project, Cash Wise Liquor Duluth and New Scenic Café.
And thanks to all those who donated items for bid in the auction. Thanks to you, our vendors and our bidders, we were able to raise 15% of our expected operational expenses for the year in one single night!

For bringing wild animals in need to us:
THANK YOU to everyone who has brought in animals this week. We’ve had so many admits that it’s been tough to keep up with all the data entry! Even though your name isn’t on the list this week we really appreciate the extra effort and time you spent to help an animal in need.
Without this amazing community of compassionate people, we would not be able to do what we do.
If we missed your name on our list this week please accept our apologies and know that you are appreciated! Without your support Wildwoods could not continue and every person who donates, becomes a member, or brings us wild animals in need is our hero.
I have a fledgling baby bird on the ground and can’t find its nest. Mom has not rescued it or fed it. Has fuzz but eyes still closed. Is there a rescue in the south metro?
Hi Jennifer,
If you are in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area you can bring the bird to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville. Call them at 651-486-9453 to let them know what you have and to get advice on what to do.
