A Note About Meat: We get quite a lot of meat donated so please call us at 218-491-3604 to find out if we have room in our freezer. All donated meat must be labeled with its type, and the date it was frozen. We cannot accept spiced, flavored or marinated meat. Please do not leave meat donations outside our door – it goes bad sitting in the sun and can attract healthy wildlife, promoting habituation (we have bears!).
Amazon Baby Shower and Wishlist
The easiest way to donate items to Wildwoods is to shop our Amazon Baby Registry. If you would like to receive a receipt from Wildwoods for these purchases, please forward your Amazon.com receipt to donations@wildwoodsrehab.org
Items from Home
If you have something specific you would like to give to us, please call us at 218-491-3604 to find out if we can use it. Please do not leave donations on our porch unless we have said it is ok. When possible, non-food related donations that we have approved should be brought to Wildwoods during business hours and left with a staff member.
Items we most commonly need include:
- large and extra-large pet carriers
- fleece blankets
- baby receiving blankets
- heating pads (without a timer switch)
- tree nuts in the shell (Brazil nuts, hazel nuts, walnuts, almonds and pecans)
- organic greens (dandelion greens, romaine)
- live minnows (please call ahead to find out if we have any patients that are eating them at the moment)
Items we DO NOT use include:
- rabbit/gerbil/rat food pellets
- wet cat and dog food
- dry cat food
- dairy
- baby food
- Pedialyte
- bird cages
- tupperware
