Our Favorite Wildlife Organizations

Wildwoods is supported by the expertise of the following Minnesota wildlife rescue organizations:

The Raptor Center of Minnesota (TRC)

The Raptor Center helps more that 700 sick and injured raptors each year. When Wildwoods receives a raptor with anything more than a slight  injury, we send them to TRC. Why re-invent the wheel, when the best raptor care in the world is a mere 2.5 hours to the south?

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRC)

With on-staff veterinarians, top-notch facility and equipment, and scores of dedicated volunteers, WRC is one of the best wildlife rehabilitation centers in the world! WRC serves the Twin Cities metro area and also takes cases from all over Minnesota. Every year, we send them our toughest non-raptor cases – lead poisoned loons, songbirds with difficult fractures, etc.

Wild and Free Wildlife Program

Wild and Free admits all species of wildlife in need, but has special expertise in the care of large animals like deer and bear, and predators like bobcat, fox, coyote, and lynx. We send animals of these species to this wonderful organization.
